The left will discuss the future of Europe in San Sebastián, June 6-8
GUE/NGL will hold its Study Days event in San Sebastián where MEPs will join Basque and other guests to discuss key policy areas for the future of Europe.
The programme includes discussions on:
- Future of the EU (elections, Brexit, militarisation): Challenges for the Left
- Migration and refugees: Latest movements & challenges
- Social and political participation: Challenges & best practices
- New tendencies in cooperative work, social and solidarity economy, relationship with universities and R.I.D. centres (featuring Mondragon)
- Fighting the Social Gap: Minimum income, cuts, wealth distribution
- Industrial development in the EU: Job creation, green innovation and tech. transfer

Following the discussions, a press point will be held on Thursday June 8 at 9.00am at the Tabakalera International Centre for Contemporary Culture, in Plaza de las Cigarreras, San Sebastián.
