Press Review: What did they do before they became MEPs?

At the recent extraordinary meeting of the European Parliament to consider the UK’s decision to leave the EU, Nigel Farage MEP from the UK Independence Party declared that none of the MEPs present had ever done a proper job in their lives. We decided to check if this is true by randomly selecting 11 MEPS as they came out of the debating chamber of the European Parliament and asking them what they did before they became MEPs. Nigel Farage has – not first for the time – made a declaration with complete disregard for the truth.
